Goodbye long hair!

After a year of growing out my hair (14″ baby!), I finally chopped it off. Here’s the end result:

So, I settled on donating my ‘tail’ to Wigs for kids. They pretty much fit the charity I wanted to donate thttp://wyldcherry.com/?p=103&preview=trueo because they make hairpieces for all types of hair loss. Actually, I’m glad I waited a two months before cutting because their prerequisites are a bit stricter compared to other hair donation charities (12″ min).

It feels good to have short hair again (no more getting it caught in trees) and I’m glad that my ponytail will help a child who needs it.

Woweee I haven’t written in this thing for such a long time.

Gahhh, I haven’t blogged in such a long time. I might as well do some sort of update on my website, but for now I’m just going to post a new pic that I recently drew.

Actually, I find that twittering is easier than writing a new blog entry. There’s no planning on what to say. No worries of grammar and punctuation. It’s raw and straight to the point. You just say whatever is on your mind right at that moment. Which is probably the reason why me and so many people are attracted to that site.

Anywho, cute puppies…

Sigh, I’m getting old…

November 14th, 2008 by WyldCherry

Lately, I’m doing some research on different types of face creams, and I find the whole thing a bit overwhelming. There are too many face creams claiming to turn back time, but I know better. You can’t stop the aging process, but, gosh darn, it I’m gonna try my best to slow it down. Hence my quest to find a good face cream.

As for my quest, I’ve tried dozens of products. So far, I’ve been using Neutrogena Healthy Skin Anti-Wrinkle Cream, Original Formula SPF 15.

I know I’m too young (well, I ain’t no spring chicken, either) for anti-wrinkle, but it had sunscreen (SPF 15) and didn’t irritate my skin. Plus, it was light enough to wear underneath my makeup. As for the anti-wrinkle part, it had retinol (a form of vitamin A) in it. Here’s an good article on the effects of retinol on the skin:

As for the product, it did a good job moisturizing. When I put it on, it absorbed quickly. Also, no smell. That’s a good thing because my face is very sensitive. Anywho, why should I switch if I don’t have any problems with it? I wanted to try something more “natural” ingredients. So, in my next posts I’ll do some reviews on several types of “organic” face moisturizer. (haha I finally found something to do with this blog) Oh wells, signing out for now…
